Residents of the Ifako/Gbagada area of Lagos have been thrown into mourning following the sudden death of a businessman identified as Owolabi Adeyemi Adetunji, popularly known as Pappy Yemo.
According to people in the community who spoke with DobBlog, the late businessman was widely known in the area for his business activities and was regarded by many as a hardworking man.
Sources said the incident happened on April 22, 2026, after he reportedly spent time with family members in Ifako before later heading to his parents’ residence in Mowe, where news of his death emerged.
Community members alleged that poison may have been involved, though the exact cause and circumstances surrounding the death have not been officially confirmed.
