TRUMP TO VISIT TEXAS AFTER DEADLY FLOODS KILL AT LEAST 82

President Donald Trump has announced plans to visit Texas later this week after catastrophic floods claimed the lives of at least 82 people, including many children, during the July 4th weekend.

The flooding, which hit Central Texas, especially around Kerr County, was caused by sudden heavy rainfall that caused rivers to rise rapidly flooding homes, roads, and a popular summer camp for girls, Camp Mystic. Some areas reported water levels rising over 26 feet in less than an hour.

“It’s heartbreaking,” Trump said Monday. “We’re working with state and local officials and I will probably go there on Friday. We don’t want to get in the way of rescue efforts, but I want to be there for the people.”

The White House confirmed that Trump has already signed a major disaster declaration, opening up federal funds and emergency support for the affected areas. Over 850 people have been rescued, but 41 are still missing, including young girls and a camp counselor.

What You Need to Know

Death Toll: At least 82 confirmed dead, with some reports suggesting the number could exceed 100.

Missing Persons: 41 still unaccounted for, including several children.

Trump’s Visit: Expected Friday, to support recovery efforts and meet with survivors and local officials.

Federal Aid: Approved by the president to help with emergency housing, cleanup, and rebuilding.

This is one of the deadliest floods in Texas history. Many families are grieving, while others are still searching for loved ones. Emergency crews continue to work around the clock in dangerous conditions.

President Trump’s visit is meant to show national support for Texas, though many are still asking tough questions about weather alert systems, camp safety, and emergency preparedness.
