CCTV Footage Shows Armed Robbers Invading Hotel in Asaba, Tying Guards and Robbing Guests

It’s the kind of video that leaves you uneasy the moment you hit play.

A disturbing CCTV clip currently circulating online shows the moment suspected armed robbers stormed a hotel in Asaba, Delta State, carrying out a coordinated attack that has now sparked widespread concern.

The footage, shared by activist Harrison Gwamnishu, captures how the attackers reportedly gained access through the main gate by overpowering the security personnel on duty. In the video, the guards appear to be subdued and tied up, leaving the premises completely exposed.

From there, the suspects allegedly moved into the hotel, where guests were said to have been robbed of their belongings in what many online users are describing as a well-planned operation.

What has made the situation even more alarming are unverified claims that one of the customers may have been killed during the incident. As of the time of writing, no official confirmation has been released regarding any casualties.

The video has quickly gained attention across social media, with many Nigerians expressing concern about the growing insecurity in parts of Delta State and calling for stronger safety measures, especially in public places like hotels.

While details are still emerging, the incident has once again raised serious questions about security readiness and response in urban areas.
